The More to Explore project launched in July 2017. We are working hard to continue to develop and promote the routes, engage with tourism service providers and generally spread the word about the fantastic opportunities for all-ability access to Morecambe Bay!

Service providers

If you are offer DDA compliant services that potential users of the routes might use eg. accommodation and refreshments, we would love to work with you and add your details to the background information for users. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your involvement

Collaborative promotion

We are keen to work collaboratively with partners to promote the More to Explore routes. In our website there are a range of useful downloads. We would be happy to discuss any ideas / opportunities you might have for collaborative promotion

Why ‘More to Explore’?

More to Explore aims to inspire people of all-ability to explore the Morecambe Bay area. This website provides advice on where and how to access a fantastic series of all-ability routes – there are downloadable maps, plus an interactive map showing lots more route suggestions. There is background information about all-ability mobility scooter use and hire locally, useful links as well as ideas for how to get more involved in this project.

More to Explore offers everyone, from families with buggies to mobility-challenged people, the opportunity to get around Morecambe Bay and experience amazing sunsets, discover natural landscapes and unearth an adventure with an incredible range of accessible routes.
